Life can be crazy sometimes—or
Within the last few years, all the time.
I’ve gone through some rough shit based on the choices that I’ve made…
And like I always say, “life is all about choices.”
In the past year, I’ve encountered life in 3 different cities: NY, MIA, and LA. Each city has been unique in its own way with pro’s and con’s evident within each of its crevices.
New York is my first love. I miss it everyday, but life in New York can eat you up…and its easy to get lost in the heat of it all. However, New York—more than anywhere else, including my native land: New Jersey— taught me so much more than anywhere else. The people are real, the struggle is real, the rats and oversized roaches are real….and most of all the bi-polar lifestyle is real. At any given time you’re subject to a lifestyle that can sporadically evolve from the greatest time of your life: partying with random interesting new people every day in Brooklyn or the lower east side, chelsea, the upper east side or soho… to complete solidarity as you lay in your small ass apartment bored and feeling ignored from the rest of the world. One night you feel like a million bucks, while the next you feel like a meager $2.17…That’s New York, but the lessons of it all in itself erect a strong individual, which can survive in virtually any city you pursue.
Miami is….well, a party. And at party’s, we tend to be in an alternate state in which our inhibitions are consumed within the sunny, or otherwise bright atmosphere….unless you’ve previously spent time in New York City. In such cases, you may find that life is a party 24/7….it’s like “Are y o u serious? Are people this stupid?” The answer is ‘yes, they are’….so ignore the cockiness…it’s a cover up reflected upon the developing Florida education system.
Los Angeles is a beautiful place, however ugly AF at the same time. They love east coasters, we’re like a land mine, as we are real as shit, straight up about what we mean, yet unaware of the scheme. Trust is a hard thing to come by. Los Angeles can be defined by too good to be true…But I’m captivated by its beauty….The sunsets are irresistible, the atmosphere is calm and carefree AF…Life is dreamy….Just remember that everyone is here for something, and you must keep am eye on your worth, as everyone wants to know what they can get out of you. The people are nice and caring, but be weary of the company that you keep, like I said things are beautiful yet ugly AF. The beaches are tranquil, the culture diverse, and the calming life style paired with the city life is a great medium. Things may be flashy, but stick to your goals and don’t lose your dignity. ..because it’s easy to forget about those things here as you can be hypnotized by the beautiful things…
